Upload a game

Add a game with one or more camera angles, as single plays or full-game film.

Upload

  1. In Film, select New game.
  2. Name the game, like "vs Central High". Set the Game date and Home, Away, or Neutral. If the game is on your Comms schedule, pick it at the top to fill these in.
  3. Drop your film into the angle, or select Drop film or choose files.
  4. Choose One play per file or Full game. Snack treats files of 90 seconds or less as one play each.
  5. Select Add angle for another camera, like End zone. A game can have up to 4 angles.
  6. Optional: select Add Hudl data to bring in Hudl's breakdown export (CSV or XLSX).
  7. Select Upload.

Keep the tab open until the film finishes uploading. Snack then makes the plays.

Limits

  • Each file can be up to 5 GB. Split longer games into several files on the same angle.
  • Each angle can hold up to 400 files.

Full-game film

Full-game film needs to be cut into plays. Open the game and select Cut plays.
