Cut a game into plays
Mark each snap by hand, or let Snack suggest the cuts.
Open the cutter
Owners, admins, and editors can cut plays. Open the game and select Cut plays.
Cut by hand
- Play the film.
- At the snap, select Snap (S) or press S.
- At the whistle, select End (E) or press E.
- Keep going. Set the quarter or period for new plays at the top.
To fix a play, select it and nudge its start or end by half a second. Press X to split it at the playhead, or M to merge it with the next play.
Let Snack find the plays
Select Suggest cuts. Snack finds the plays in the full game and marks them for review. Select Accept all to keep them, or check them one at a time. Back on the game page, a banner shows how many suggested plays are left; select Review to finish them.
Each team can run Suggest cuts 10 times a day.
Select Done when you are finished.
