Add parents
Invite parents so they follow their athlete in Comms, without using seats.
How parents work
Parents follow their athlete. They see their athlete's schedule and broadcasts, and they do not use any of your team's seats. Parents join through their athlete, so add athletes to the team first. Business teams don't have parents.
Invite a parent
Owners, admins, editors, and contributors can manage parents.
- In Chat, select Parents.
- Find the athlete.
- Enter the parent's email or mobile and select Invite.
You can also share the Parent join link. If an athlete asks to add a parent, approve it under Join requests.
Parent chats
Parents can't chat with each other until you turn on Parents can chat with each other in Parents. It is off for new teams.
Reports
If a parent reports a message, it shows under Reports in Parents. Choose Dismiss, Remove message, or Remove message and sender.
