Is my donation tax-deductible?
The organizer decides. Your receipt email says which applies to your gift.
On the fundraiser page
If the organizer marked the raise tax-deductible, the page shows a Tax-exempt eligible tag.
In your receipt
Your Thanks for supporting email says one of these:
- The team marked the raise as tax-deductible, with its EIN when that has been verified. Keep the email with your Stripe receipt for your records.
- The team marked the raise as not tax-deductible. The email confirms your gift but is not a charitable tax receipt.
- The team has not confirmed tax-deductible status. Contact the team if you need tax documentation.
Snack cannot give tax advice. Check with a tax professional if you are unsure.
