Change or remove a deadline

Owners and admins can move or remove a due date after an assignment is out.

Edit the deadline

Only owners and admins can change a deadline.

  1. Open the assignment from Assignments.
  2. Open the … menu and select Edit deadline.
  3. Pick a new date and time, then select Save. To take the deadline off, select Remove deadline.

Members get an Assignment updates notification in the Snack app with the new due date.

Notify members

Notify members is on by default. Leave it on to keep this assignment's automatic deadline reminders. Turning it off stops them.

Automatic reminders need a deadline, so removing the deadline also stops them.
